Incarnations and Incarnations – Part 3

Avatars

The first of these three last avatars is the young Krishna (the body of Vishnu), up to 11 years and 52 days in whose body descended the Exalted Power of the Supreme Lord. So, the Braj Leela (the sports of Braj) by Krishna from the time of birth till the age of 11 years 52 days is actually of the Supreme Lord and not of Vishnu. Consequently, for reasons not being elaborated here, Braj and surrounding areas underwent dissolution. The Vishnu who had incarnated as Krishna in whom the Supreme Lord played His sport was eternalized as Gouloki Krishna at Yogmaya in Akshardham. This is spelt out in the Kalash section of Kulzam Swaroop (Tartamic Wisdom) in Prakaran 18, verses 10 – 14.

“avtar choubees Vishnu ke, vaikunŧ tħe’n āve jāae|
ae vidħ jāher thyon karūn, jyon sanandħ sab samjhāae” 
Kalash Hindi, 18:10. 

“It is said that the 24 incarnations of godhead Vishnu come from Vaikunŧ and then return after fulfilling the mission. The descriptions of these incarnations are being spelt out so that all can grasp the reality.”

“avtar aekais inme, thin ādaā hua kalpānth|
aur kahāve theen bade, bhī kahun thinkī bhānth”        Kalash Hindi, 18:11.

“Twenty-one of these twenty-four incarnations are during the various epochs of this world and within the domain of dissolution. But, the remaining three are said to be big ones (which relate to the sports of the eternal worlds). The secrets of each of them are being revealed to you.”

“avtar aek shri Krisn kā, mool matħurā pragtyā jeh|
Dheedhār devkī vasudev ko, diyā chatrbhuj aeh”                           Kalash Hindi, 18:12.

“One of the three incarnations is of Shri Krishnawho, manifested mainly at Mathura. He appeared as the four-armed form there before Vasudev and Devki.”

“vachan kahe vasudev ko, phire vaikunŧ apni ŧaur|
peeche pragate dhoae bhujā, so saroop sanandħ aur”                  Kalsh Hindi, 18:13.

“That four-armed form after giving instructions (about the manifestation of Supreme Lord and shifting Him to Gokul) to Vasudev returned to Vaikunŧ. And then manifested the two-armed form of Shri Krishnaand His form and sport are quite distinct from that of Vishnu”.  

“vasudev gokal le chale, thāae na kahiye avtār|
so tho nahin in hadh kā, akhand leela hai pār” 
Kalash Hindi, 18:14.

“That Shri Krishna who was taken to Gokul by Vasudev was not just the bodily form of Vishnu, but an incarnate of Supreme Lord as His exalted power had ensconced within him. That power was not of this perishable world but the singular non-dual sport form of the Supreme Heaven (Paramdham).

The second of the three avatars is again in the form of Krishna, the body of a newly recreated Vishnu as, Braj and all other areas which had undergone dissolution were recreated as though in continuation of the previous one. These secrets are unknown to all, and hence no scripture or individual could mention this. Again (without elaborating on the reasons for recreating everything as though nothing had happened), into the body of this Krishna descended the Power of Akshar Brahm and the consciousness of Gouloki Krishna. This was the sport of Akshar Brahm and not again of Vishnu and lasted for 11 days (7 days at Gokul and 4 days at Mathura) till Kans was killed. After that, the Power of Akshar and the consciousness of Gouloki Krishn went back, and from here starts the sport of Vishnu of Vaikunŧ. Once again, the sport at Gokul for 7 days and the sport at Mathura for 4 days was enacted by Akshar Brahm and not Vishnu. These can be found detailed again in Kalash part of Tartamic Wisdom in Prakaran 18, verses 16 – 19.

“bhī kahun thume samjhāae ke, thum bhāno dħokhā ma’n| avtār so akrūr sang, jāae la’ee matħurā jin” 
Kalash Hindi, 18:16.

“Let me reveal to you more secrets because of which you can rid your mind of all doubts. That Shri Krishna who after killing Kans etc. subordinated Mathura accompanied by Akroor is said as an incarnation.”

“inmen bhī hai ānkadī, binā tārtam samjhī nā jāae|
so thum dil dhe samajhiyo, neeke dheūn batāae”                          Kalash Hindi, 18:17.

“There is a secret riddle even in these sports which cannot be deciphered without the Tārtamic wisdom. Therefore O’ supreme Souls (Brahmasrishtis), listen to me carefully. I shall make you aware of everything by opening out all knotty riddles.”

“sāth char din bhesh leelā, khele govālon sangh|
Sāth din gokal mi’ne, din char matħurā jangh”                              Kalash Hindi, 18:18

“The sport of eleven days enacted with the cowherds and milkmaids at the end of the eternal sport of Rās is said to be one of guise. In this was the sport of seven days at Gokula and the war of four days at Mathura. This is to be understood as the sport of the Gouloki Principle ensconced with the power of Lord of the Upper Heaven (Akshar Brahm).

“dħanush bhān gaj mal māre, thab huae din chaār|
pacħād kans vasudev cħode, yā din tħe’n avtār”                              Kalash Hindi, 18:19.

“He broke the bow after reaching Mathura, killed kubalyapeed elephant, and annihilated the mighty evil wrestlers, chānūr and Mushtik. Liberated Vasudev and Devaki from imprisonment after killing Kans, and by this time, four days had elapsed. From here starts the sport of Vishnu as Krishna”.

The third and the last avatar was enacted between 16th and 17th centuries. This is actually a combination of two avatars, Budħ and Kalki, together christened or known as the ‘Budħ-Nishkalank avatar or incarnation. Together, it is referred to as the ‘awakening sport’ (jagni leela). These two avatars actually represent the manifestation of the consciousness of Shyamaji, the Bliss aspect of the Supreme Lord within the chosen body of Devchandraji (a bodily form taken by the soul of Devapi of satyug) and of the Exalted Power of the Supreme Lord within the chosen body of Mihir-raj (a bodily form taken by the soul of Maru of satyug). Through the Budħ incarnation, the secrets about the hierarchal organization of the three universes, their Lords and the eternal sport of Rās etc., were revealed. Ultimately, Kalki was represented by the Exalted Power of Supreme Lord. He revealed all hidden secrets of world scriptures and gave the enlightening Tartamic Wisdom, the Ultimate Wisdom, to descend for the spiritual awakening of all, superseding all previous scriptures. In the body of Mihir-raj, even the consciousness of shyamaji and Akshar Brahm and all the powers of Paramdham were ensconced along with the Exalted Power of Supreme Lord and henceforth known as the Avatar of avatars – Budħ-Nishkalank Avtar. This is revealed in the section Kalash of Tartamic wisdom– Prakaran 18, verses 32 – 40.

“uŧī hai bānī anek āgam, yāko gop hai ujās|
vairāt sanmukh hoaesī, budħ noor ke prakās”                              Kalash Hindi, 18:32.

“There have been already many prophecies about the incarnation of Budħ-Nishkalnk, and it has also been said that its manifestation has remained secret. Now, under the enlightening wisdom of Budħ, the meaning of all these prophesies is going to be revealed.”

“chalsī sab aek chālen, dhoojā mukh nā bole vāk|
bole tho jo kacħū  hoae bākī, fod udāyo thool āk”                       Kalash Hindi, 18:33.

“Now, all the creatures of the world shall take to the same path under one opinion. None will utter any other words other than the revealed wisdom of Akshar (Lord of the Upper Heaven) and Aksharāteet (Lord of the Supreme Heaven). Because anything else can be said only if there is anything else left after the revelations of Budħ incarnation. Like the blowing away of fine cotton by a strong breeze, the ignorance of this world has been dissipated by the wisdom of Budħ, meaning this 14 tiered world has been proved false and dreamlike”.

“ab aeh vachan kahūn kethe, desi duniyān ko udħār|
Mere sangh āae badī nidħ pāee, so nirākār ke pār” 
Kalash Hindi, 18:34.

“Now, how much more can I tell about these revealed words? These words of wisdom shall present deliverance to this world. Coming with me, the intellect of Akshar Brahm has acquired this eternal wealth of Tartamic Wisdom of Eternal Abode (Paramdham) beyond the incorporeal”.

“pār budħe pāae peecħe, yāko hosī bado mān|
akshar nek nā cħode nyārī, ae udhayo nehechal bhān”                 Kalash Hindi, 18:35.

“After acquiring the wisdom of the Eternal Paramdham, the intellect of Akshar shall attain the exalted position. Now, the bright sun form of Eternal Tartamic wisdom has risen, and Akshar Brahm shall not leave it for even a moment”. 

“avtār jo nehekalank ko, so asv adħūro rahyo|
purush dekhyo nahin nainon, thurī ko kalankī tho kahyo”             Kalash Hindi, 18:36.

“Of the said three prominent incarnations, that of Nishkalank has been likened to that of a riderless horse. Three of its legs are on earth, and one leg is raised above, and since it is riderless is thereby said as incomplete. The Principle mounted on the horse could not be seen by seer Sukdev with his eyes, and hence the horse has been said as with blemish (kalankith). When the rider mounts it, the horse shall place all four legs on earth and will then be known as blemishless (Nishkalank)”.

“avtār yā budħ ke peecħe, ab doosra kyon kar hoae|
vikār kāde visw ke, sab kiae avtār se soae”
Kalash Hindi, 18:37.

“How can there be another incarnation after this Budħ-Nishkalank? By cleansing all creatures of their defilements, the wisdom of Eternal Supreme Lord (Aksharāteet) has made them all also like incarnate individuals.”

“avtār se utham huae, thahān avtārkā kyā kām|
jahān jame hu’ā sab kā, doojā nek na rakhyā nām”                     Kalash Hindi, 18:38.

“By the spread and enlightenment of the eternal wisdom of the Supreme Heaven and of the Supreme Lord, all the people of the world will become even more perfect than incarnates by their conductance of life and deeds. In this state of the situation, what is the need for further incarnations? In this one incarnation only, the power and wisdom of all incarnations have merged, and so no name of any further incarnation is taken.”

“jahān paiae pā’ae pār ke, huā nehechal noor prakās|
thith agiae avtār me’n, ith kyā rahyā ujās”
Kalash Hindi, 18:39.

“This Budħ-Nishkalank incarnation has shown the path for salvation to all through the Tārtamic wisdom and has also spread the light of eternal Tārtamic wisdom all over. Now, what is left of all previous incarnations? They are all left insipid and lusterless.”

“samajhiyo thum yā vidħ, avtār na hove a’n|
purush tho pehele nā kahyo, vichār dekho vachan”                       Kalash Hindi, 18:40.

“O’ dear believers, please know it that there won’t be any further incarnations because nothing had been said about the Principle riding a horse even earlier. Please try to view these words rationally.”

Though the word avtar or incarnation had been used for all three manifestations, they are not actual physical incarnations. The selected bodies became incarnate with the descent of consciousness or powers from the realms of Akshar Brahmand and Paramdham (Upper Heaven and Supreme Heaven). Since Ādi Nārayan is the creator of the cosmos and He is present in it, His manifestations are all physical avatars or incarnations. As against this, the manifestations of the eternal worlds or universes cannot come in bodily form for the reasons cited above and hence are a descent of aspects like consciousness or power into chosen bodies.

To conclude, it is essential to realize that there are limitations in the words we use in this world, and hence they have to be defined in broader terms and not in a singular sense as is understood by the people of this world. So, an incarnation can be the actual descent of a divine in a physical form in flesh and blood or even descent of some aspect of a higher divine in a chosen body in this world.
