The Following Demerits Can Come in the Way of Success.
There are many habits and demerits that can retard or cause hurdles in the progress of our life. These habits can come in the way of our success, too. Not attending to them at the right time can easily destroy our managerial/organizational efficiency. Four main bad habits can prove dangerous to our success.
Being impatient in reacting to situations
If you have any problem with anyone in your group and want to respond or react, you should not speak through a third person rather than directly engaging in dialogue with the person concerned.
Making major decisions when in anger
One should not answer or say anything when emotionally charged without thinking and in haste. Remember past mistakes and failures, and remember how you have harmed yourself by doing things or acting in a state of fury or frenzy. You can ask yourself what more harm can occur by acting similarly.
Avoid blaming others
Those who do not accept one’s faults and throw all blame at others are spreading negativity. Ultimately, they play the card of victims. Avoid doing this and try to learn from your mistakes. It would be best if you tried to do whatever is best possible from your side, considering the current circumstances and taking advantage of your effectiveness/influence and control. You should do whatever is best possible from your side.
Exercising unnecessary control over the team
If you are working for a leader who exercises unnecessary control over the team, the members will get disinterested and will refuse to give a reaction or response. One should share things, share one’s targets, and give advice to overcome such a situation. Keep giving motivation and help grow the confidence of the team.
